Website-Relaunch

The challenge

Photographers presenting their portfolio online need to make their work tangible. Their online presence has to convince immediately, be minimalist so as not to distract from the photos, and give the images space to speak for themselves. These were the central challenges in the relaunch of the Carolin Jacklin Photography website.

At the same time, the diversity of her work needed to be highlighted and intuitively accessible to users. The website also needed to be able to grow: client projects and personal work should be flexibly integrated and find their place on equal footing.

The Flavour idea

For Carolin Jacklin, we created a modern web presence in a short time, presenting her photography in a clearly structured and emotionally engaging way.

The content is well organized and guides users intuitively through the portfolio. The foundation for this is a modular system that allows content to be flexibly expanded and individually designed. This keeps the site dynamic and allows it to grow with each new project.

“We wanted to create a design that doesn’t draw attention to itself, but gives the images space while at the same time conveying the personality of the photographer.”
